This is the first production series Edison Speakers guitar cabinet know as "The Original Edison." This 2x12 guitar cabinet features one Celestion Vintage 30 and one Celestion G12H 70th Anniversary edition. The cabinet can be order in many different tolex finishes and grill colors. The speakers can be ordered in any combination of Celestion or others. Casters and handles are optional and chrome or black corners. This speaker pours tone with the open back style cabinet. Special sealing techniques have been used to avoid air leaks and rubber feet for support. This cabinet is completely hand built to ensure the highest quality standards. Well we are up and running. Our first two production speaker cabinets are underway and they are looking great. I should probably back up and give you a little information on myself and my cabs. I have thankfully been involved in music, especially guitar since a young age and over the years of playing music at church, in bands and composing music otherwise have learned a lot about guitar tones and speakers. I have decided to put that knowledge to work and start building my own hand built guitar/bass cabinets. "Edison Speakers" is the name of my business and I only use high quality wood and components. Why should you only be able to choose from what the "Big Names" let you choose from. All black cabinets and all the same is not for me. Most use cheap speakers and parts...not to mention a very poor quality of wood. Almost all speaker cabinets made today are made overseas using poor product quality control and cost a fraction of what you pay. Why should you be forced to pay $1,100 or more for a speaker cabinet that you have no choice in. I personally don't want a mass produced cabinet sitting under my personally hand selected amp. I want a speaker cabinet that defines myself and the music I make. I build speaker cabinets for the discriminating musician looking for an uncompromisingly pure tone.
